City of Charlotte, North Carolina Proclamation
WHEREAS, Zahng Gil-jah, the Chairwoman of the International We Love U Foundation is delivering the message of hope and happiness to people under the slogan, “Mother’s Love to the Whole World”; and,
WHEREAS, the goal of this organization is to assist in various professional welfare activities for youth, senior citizens, and society; donations for natural disasters, support for the national games, blood drives, and the clean world movement; and,
WHEREAS, Zahng Gil-jah has helped people who were in need for thirty years looking beyond their country, race, socioeconomic status or religion; and,
WHEREAS, Zahng Gil-jah is helping people who are suffering from wars and diseases; she is providing shelter for the victims of earthquakes, volcanoes, floods and snow storms and creating a harmony and friendship to the world by providing water pumps and helping those who are affected by global warming; and,
WHEREAS, in essence, the Chairwoman, Zahng Gil-jah, has set forth that the members of the International We Love U Foundation throughout the world carry out a noble activity to save a life through a blood donation campaign; and,
WHEREAS, today in Charlotte, North Carolina the International We Love U Foundation is participating in a blood drive to save emergency patients who need blood transfusions as well as patients with leukemia:
Now, Therefore, I, Anthony R. Foxx, Mayor of Charlotte, do hereby proclaim July 15, 2012 as
“INTERNATIONAL WE LOVE U FOUNDATION WORLDWIDE BLOOD DRIVE”
in Charlotte and commend its observance to all citizens.
