Through the ceremony, university students keenly felt the necessity of the environmental protection movement, and decided to start with small things. “I would like to show good examples from small works as an environmental leader. I think university students in the United States can learn from that example,” said Seth Siglock, who had been appointed as an Intl. WeLoveU University Student Environmental Leader.

“Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be a university student environmental leader. Individuals can only make small changes, but they can make even bigger changes if they unite. I will make efforts to raise the environmental awareness in order to change Africa and the whole world when I return to my home country,” said Lesedi Mokgautsi from University of Cape Town, Rep. of South Africa.

“I was shocked to see the pictures of the garbage floating on the sea; it was more polluted than I had thought. I will be picking up trash on the road from now on. I will start to practice even this small deed,” said Yoo Ji-suk from Bucheon University, Korea.
