On June 17, people in yellow shirts gathered in Meena Estate West, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. They are the members of Intl. WeLoveU Foundation who hold the event every year.

From 10 a.m., around 40 members gathered and began to work with gloves and masks. They weeded out the streets and picked up trash like plastic bags and cups and pieces of paper.

“We can have a happy life when we have a clean environment. If we can gather the hearts of people who are trying to make our environment clean, we can make the whole world clean,” they said.
Volunteers carried out the cleanup for around two hours with bright smiles.
