Donation of 1,000 face masks to Independencia Police Station in Lima, Peru

On November 19, the members of the Intl. WeLoveU Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the “WeLoveU”) in Lima, Peru, donated 1,000 face masks to the Independencia Police Station. It was to express gratitude to the police officers who were working hard for the pandemic prevention and safety of citizens without rest amid the spread of COVID-19. Nine WeLoveU members and five police officers attended the delivery ceremony.

The members themselves inspected all the face masks to remove defective ones and carefully packed good ones in boxes. After that, they put stickers on the boxes with a message, “Police officers, thank you for your efforts to respond to COVID-19.” Thus, they expressed their gratitude to the police officers for their hard work day and night to prevent the spread of the infectious disease.

The members shouted, “We Love You,” to the police officers who attended the ceremony, and then, “Animo! Animo! Animo!” Animo means “Cheer up” in Spanish. The police officers responded with applause to the members, expressing their gratitude for the masks.
