Donation of face masks and hand sanitizers to the Ministry of Education and the Central Regional Health Directorate in El Salvador

On January 7, Intl. WeLoveU Foundation donated 23,000 face masks and 40 bottles of 3.75 liters [1 gallon] of hand sanitizer to the Central Regional Health Directorate located in Santa Tecla, La Libertad, El Salvador. Hearing that the medical staff at public health centers who work hard at the forefront of the pandemic are having difficulties due to a shortage of preventive supplies, the WeLoveU immediately set out to provide help. A few days later, on the 11th, they delivered 30,000 face masks and 100 bottles of hand sanitizer to the Ministry of Education of El Salvador to prevent COVID-19 among students and teachers in public schools.
The manager of the WeLoveU chapter in San Salvador, El Salvador, said, “We need to unite and share love with one another in difficult times with COVID-19 so that we can overcome it faster.” The members prepared donation items with all their heart to share love with others, hoping that the students, teachers, and medical staff, who were the recipients, would stay safe and healthy from infectious diseases.
Director of the Central Regional Health Directorate and the Minister of the Ministry of Education in El Salvador: "Thank you for your encouraging and valuable donation"

Minister of Education Carla Hananía de Varela, who attended the donation ceremony, exchanged an elbow greeting with the WeLoveU chapter manager, and expressed her gratitude for carrying out solidarity throughout the world in these difficult times.
“I know that only unity can resolve the problems we face today, so I agree with the WeLoveU’s slogan, ‘We Can Overcome COVID-19 If We Work Together.’ Schools are currently closed, but when schools reopen, the donation will be used to protect the health of the students. I want to thank the WeLoveU for the encouraging donation.”

Director of the Central Regional Health Directorate, Roxana Ivonne Morán de Santos, said that she would like to express her gratitude to Honorary Chairwoman Zahng Gil-jah of the WeLoveU.
“We received more than just donation. We realized that the medical staff should be motivated to grow in love. We must share love with one another. This donation has given us faith and hope that we will win the fight against COVID-19.”
The Director of the Central Regional Health Directorate repeatedly said thank you three times to the WeLoveU members.

The news that the WeLoveU provided preventive supplies to the Central Regional Health Directorate received much attention from media. The news of the donation ceremony was spread on Channel 25, Channel 12, and Orbita TV 25, and articles about it were also published on the Internet and in five newspapers.
Giving supplies is a way to share love. Love must not be kept to oneself. It must be shared with one another. Now, it is time we all need to love and unite.
