The Grief of Flood Damage Healed by Smile
In 2002, severe flood hit throughout the whole nation.
Among the regions, Hanrim-myeon in Gimhae city was hit most severely. Over 50 New Life Welfare Foundation members in Busan and nearby regions performed volunteer service at Hanrim-myeon for two days.

The victims were very devastated and the damage was more serious than they had seen on TV. The members who came to the spot worked for restoration with devotion all alike.

Removing the filth all over the place and washing clothes mixed with mud, the members smiled all the time and the victims were encouraged by them.
